2025 Boys Club General Information

FVVC is based mainly out of Langley and Surrey. We utilize local schools for all practices, so midweek practices typically run between 4:30-10:00pm. Weekend practices run Sunday afternoon/evenings between 1-9pm. Competitions are held in tournament format, typically on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Our club aims to offer a high level training with qualified coaches, committed to developing individuals in a team environment. We are passionate about developing leaders and believe that sport offers a unique opportunity to develop desirable character qualities.

We are a high performance club with expectations that athletes are committed to training and competition. We will support those who want to pursue volleyball at the post secondary level, to find playing opportunities and access athletic scholarships.

Fees are not yet finalized but range from $1300 (13/14U) -$2000 (17/18U) and are inclusive of all expenses (uniforms and team gear, tournament fees, insurance, coaching, facilities and equipment) except travel to out of town tournaments, including nationals. Travel expenses for 2 coaches per team will be split between all team athletes and collected prior the the event. Payments will be required to be paid in full on or before Dec 11th or in 2 installments- on or before Dec 11th and Jan 15th. FVVC does not want the fees to be a barrier to participation and will work with families to find solutions and payment plans that work for them. Some scholarship funds are available.

All participants must individually register as a competitive athlete with Volleyball BC. The fee for this is $75 for the year. A link will be provided to all athletes once selected to the team. This fee is not included in the club fees.

Parent volunteers are welcome as team managers, scorekeepers and linesmen (where requested by the tournaments). Teams may opt to fundraise to offset team expenses for extra tournaments and travel, etc.

FVVC is currently looking for a few volunteer (possible honorariums provided) staff positions: Communications Director (website), Sponsorship Coordinator, and Safesport Director. If you have an interest in any of these positions, please contact Carol at admin@fvvc.com.
